GUARANTEE

WHAT IS A GUARANTEE?

Guarantee of treatment quality in dentistry means certain minimum period of patient’s clinical well-being after treatment during which no disease complications should be observed and the integrity and functional value of made fillings, dentures, crowns and orthodontic devices shall remain preserved.

Try to compare guarantee in dentistry to usual guarantees granted when purchasing consumer goods is not entirely correct, as even the body’s response to correct treatment may be different.

Therefore, in terms of medicine it is more appropriate to use the term prognosis of treatment. The guarantee for treatment is granted after complete diagnosis and analysis of the clinical situation based on results projected by the doctor.

  • If the treatment plan goes beyond a favorable prognosis, there is concluded individual agreement with patient entered and in this case the guarantee for this type of clinic services is not granted. Thus, the in such a case the patient itself shall bear the financial risk.
  • If clinic has performed the recommended dental treatment plan for the patient and if during the guaranty period, the patient faces the problem with the treatment the clinic will eliminate the problems for free.
This means that this is the financial risk born clinic.

After expiry of the guarantee period there commences the effective lifetime period of dental products (works) as it is defined by the period of time during which the goods (works, services) are suitable for use.
In the clinic “Roma” there are established following guarantee terms:
